Carpe Diem, as used here is a call to action; an encouragement for you to consider how you live your life. This term is used here to inspire you to live fully and purposefully. Somehow or another we all manage to use up the days of our lives. Let’s purpose together to use ours for the greatest good!
Your moments are meaningful – they matter not only to you but to others, too.
Consider how you can let your focus be on contributing and adding value to others’ lives.
Daily ask yourself, how can I make a difference today? How will today be more significant than yesterday (mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually)?
It’s not necessarily an increase in your “doing” – it’s more about living with intention instead of merely existing.
It’s about putting your energy into significance rather than existence.
Give what you want to receive. If you need help, seek to be helpful. Give love and you’ll get love. Smile and receive smiles in return. Truth is, what you give you get. Ask and you will receive!
Life is a succession of moments,
to live each one is to succeed.
You might start your day with an inclination toward grumpiness or gratitude. As you look through the lens of Carpe Diem, which perspective would have a more positive effect on you and others? The key is that we can make the choice. We always have an opportunity to CHOOSE to make the best use of our days. . .to make the most of our day. . .everyday.
Of course this isn’t about a life philosophy of “don’t think, just do.”
Also. . .please, please, please do not take this to mean you must stress about every moment of your life! Simply let your life be meaningful, be cognizant of the choices you are given, let your time be utilized well and with value.
You matter. Your life matters. You are a person of significance and you already do make a positive difference in this world. God has great plans for you – to do in and through you! Because He loves you. . .Carpe Diem!!
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,
“plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future.
Carpe Diem, beloveds.
