Realistic – do what you can today. You’ve got this!
If your project is huge and overwhelming, determine not to tackle the entire project in one day, make small steps toward a larger goal, break it down into realistically manageable chunks. I’m not writing all 31 days at once. I’m parceling and writing in spurts!
This is not an excuse to procrastinate or beat yourself up for less-than-perfect performance.
Keep a to do list every day and consciously work on the things on your list. However, make this list realistic in terms or your time and energy, too. You needn’t put the daily basics on it unless you find the need to see all of it in front of you in order to get it done.
Remember, you are given today = the present to spend meaningfully. Let not another day go by mired in the mundane.
Receive the assurance given in Philippians 4:6–7
“Do not be anxious about anything,
but in every situation, by prayer and petition,
with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
God will give you peace as you humbly ask for direction while thanking Him for all you’ve learned through the times of your life.
Carpe Diem beloveds!
