We’ve not had consistent internet today and I was caught up in unpacking, washing and organizing our NEW kitchen! It’s not actually done yet but at least the cabs and floors are done! Walls (tile/paint) will be coming asap. Need another maestro and bids in order to make that happen sooner rather than later.
This is a holiday week in Ecuador sooooo things will be noisier and less productive round these parts!
Today was a lovely day at church. Our monthly covered dish and convo time. I’m not so good at eating anyway and the whole covered dish thing is a challenge for me particularly. I took Coquette for a walk, dawdled around, chatting and was one of the last to actually get any food. As the only vegetarian, it’s always weird anyway as I search for something I can eat. Precious sister Rachel made a special pasta salad and it was delish!! She is extra-special. Thank you, Lord!
We received the rest of our marching orders today, too. Pastors Lana y Buff shared at length about the church at Antioch and how they were the model for our Church on the Beach.
- Antioch was a missions-minded church.
- Antioch was a giving church.
- Antioch was an educating church.
- Antioch was a loving and accepting church.
- Antioch was a praying and fasting church.
We were sent on our way with the question: Will you go? Iras?
Yes, Lord, I will go. Here I am on the internet going for You. Here I go writing and publishing a book on Carpe Diem in, through, by and for YOU!
I will go in Your power, Lord. I will go and share Your message Lord. I ask for and am seeking Your clear direction, voice, speaking through me, Lord.
I’ve LOTS to learn, LOTS to do, MUCH to put into practice. I am certain, though, that God is directing me. He will enable me. He has given me Phil. 4:13 to live and share. I will go and do. I will Carpe Diem in Your power, Lord!
Carpe Diem beloveds!
